What else KÜHL sells

KÜHL is mostly a synthetics brand: about half of the men’s styles we read are 50% or more polyester or nylon, and only about one in eight is 100% natural fiber. The natural options are mainly organic-cotton tees and long sleeves, plus a few cotton jackets and wool-blend sweaters. Pants, shorts, base layers and fleece are almost all synthetic or stretch blends.

  • Base layers: every men’s base layer we read is polyester or a polyester-merino blend
  • Fleece: several styles are 100% polyester (e.g. Konfluence, Alpenwurx) and others blend wool with polyester; the Invigoratr FZ is the exception at 95% merino, 5% nylon
  • Pants and shorts: nylon, polyester or cotton with spandex
  • Many shirts: nylon and polyester (e.g. Styk)
  • Even the all-cotton Burr jacket and vest have polyester or nylon linings

How we checked

177 styles checked from 177 current men’s styles (from 391 men’s product URLs in KÜHL’s sitemap; 213 redirected to category pages, which we treated as discontinued), on Oct 31, 2026. Every current style, not a sample: we read the “Main Body” material listed on each product page (or the only material listed). Linings, pockets and trims not counted. Not weighted by sales.
