Industry of All Nations: natural-fiber picks

Not scored. This is a list of individual products, not a FabricTruth score.

Organic cotton, alpaca and wool made where the fiber grows. Nearly everything is natural fiber, with a few small exceptions in trims and socks.

The small exceptions

Nearly everything Industry of All Nations sells is natural fiber: organic cotton, alpaca or wool. The few exceptions are small: the socks are 97% organic cotton with 3% synthetic for stretch, some elastic waistbands are recycled elastic whose fiber isn’t listed, and a handful of upcycled “New Denim” pieces don’t list fiber content.

  • Organic Cotton Socks: 97% organic cotton, with 2% recycled polyamide and 1% elastane for stretch
  • Elastic waistbands: about 30 items use a “recycled elastic waistband” whose fiber isn’t listed (the Ango Pants page describes it as recycled polyester)
  • Upcycled “New Denim Project”: nine pieces made from “upcycled textile waste” don’t list fiber percentages, so we leave them out of fiber claims
